2024 LEARN TO ROW CLINICS 
 

The Princess Anne Crew Club is set to host one-day training sessions in Spring 2024, open to all high school students. These sessions will occur at the club's practice site, next to Princess Anne High School in the Thalia neighborhood. The L2R clinics will feature intensive training in small group settings, focusing on:

• Ground School

• Stationary rowing

• Open water rowing

• Types of rowers (boat types, positions on a boat, terminology, etc)

• Time commitments/expectations

• Rowing seasons & practices (fall, winter, spring)

• Role of the Eastern Virginia Scholastic Rowers Association

• Regattas

• Parent participation

**The cost to participate in the clinic is  $10 (covers gas)**

​--> You will receive information about obtaining your US Rowing membership from the team after you register for your clinic<--

We will make every effort to place you in your preferred date of choice, but do ask you to let us know in your registration if you can attend more than one session.  Thank you!

Each student must have a completed and signed copy of each of the forms in the Learn 2 Row forms packet:

• Download --> Learn To  Row Required Forms

1. Completed packet of forms (available to download above)

2. $10 Cash or Check made out to Princess Anne Crew Club for registration/participation fee

3.  Lunch, snacks, reusable water bottle

4. Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, or sunglasses (recommended)
